Case:
This example features symmetrical lugs and is in superb vintage condition. There are some light hairline scratches, and normal-to-light wear distributed evenly throughout the case, but the watch remains extremely crisp and sharp.

Dial:
The dial is in good original condition with some patina from age including a spot below the 12 o'clock marker

Movement:
The fully-serviced manual-wind calibre by Jaeger-LeCoultre is in excellent condition.

Bracelet:
This watch comes on a 18mm brown leather strap with a rose gold plated buckle.

Returns must be shipped via overnight or priority international service, fully insured, and at the buyer’s expense. A label will be provided and a restocking fee may apply. All returns must be received in the original condition as when shipped.

Mid-century Jaeger chronographs sit in a fascinating, slightly under-documented corner of Jaeger-LeCoultre history. Long before the modern era of in-house JLC chronographs, these watches were made in small numbers for different markets, often signed simply “Jaeger” in France, “LeCoultre” in the United States, or “Jaeger-LeCoultre” elsewhere. That context matters here. With its Jaeger-signed dial and French-hallmarked 18k rose gold case, this 1950s three-register chronograph speaks directly to the French side of the maison’s history, where Edmond Jaeger’s Parisian design influence met LeCoultre’s Swiss watchmaking discipline.

The watch has the quiet confidence of the best postwar dress chronographs. At 36.5mm, the case is large for the period without feeling bulky and modern.
