Case:
The watch is in excellent condition with some light scuffs and hairline scratches, consistent with its age, throughout the case. It is engraved "JRG" on the back.

Crystal:
The glass crystal is in excellent condition.

Dial:
The heavily patinated dial is in good vintage condition with some not unattractive fading of the radium lume.

Movement:
The fully-serviced manual-winding calibre by Longines is in excellent condition.

Bracelet:
Sterling silver bracelet is aftermarket but period-correct. Will fit up to a ~7.5" wrist.

Timepieces are packed in our Los Angeles showroom, and then shipped with fully-insured 1 or 2-Day shipping via FedEx within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required upon delivery to ensure coverage. Expedited shipping options are available for an additional fee. For clients in Los Angeles, we’re pleased to offer in-person delivery or showroom pickup by appointment.

Returns must be shipped via overnight or priority international service, fully insured, and at the buyer’s expense. A label will be provided and a restocking fee may apply. All returns must be received in the original condition as when shipped.

This exceptional 1911 Tiffany & Co. wristwatch in a tonneau shape that evokes a Patek Philippe "Gondolo" or Cartier "Baigniore," is a rare and evocative survivor from the very dawn of wristwatch history. It was a time when Tiffany was actively shaping American taste through European horological excellence. Produced in a period when the wristwatch was still a radical proposition and largely favored by women and avant-garde men, it reflects Tiffany’s early embrace of refined, architectural forms inspired by emerging Art Deco sensibilities. Its movement was contracted by Longines, one of the era’s most respected manufactures, underscoring Tiffany’s practice of pairing its name with only the finest Swiss technical partners.

The sterling silver tonneau case is elegantly elongated, with soft, flowing curves that recall both the Baignoire and Gondolo schools of design. That is, the rejection of round cases in favor of sculptural sophistication.
