The name is perhaps best remembered today through the brand’s celebrated Sub-Sea chronographs, some of which paired Movado’s in-house chronograph calibres with water-resistant cases produced by the respected specialist Taubert \u0026amp; Fils. As the decade progressed, the Sub-Sea range grew increasingly varied and sporty, eventually encompassing a number of chronograph and diving-oriented executions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis time-only Sub-Sea offers a more restrained interpretation of that same philosophy. Rather than relying on a rotating bezel, oversized case or overtly technical dial, it combines the practical character associated with the collection with the proportions and detailing of a classic mid-century dress watch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe original silver dial has developed an attractive creamy patina, softening its surface without obscuring the clarity of the design. Applied faceted arrow markers are joined by Arabic numerals at 12 and 6, and silver dauphine hands complete the composition.
